Polished Concrete
What is Polished Concrete?
Polished concrete is a process which enhances the natural beauty of existing concrete. With endless aggregate, sheen, colorants, and decorative options, polished concrete allows designers to tailor the floor to compliment any interior.
Why utilize polished concrete?
Elimination of Dusting:
Resulting in a cleaner, easier-to-maintain environment. Stain- Resistant: Polished concrete transforms porous concrete into a tightened floor dense enough to repel stains. Improved Receptivity and Ambient Lighting: Reduces the energy bill as well as looks beautiful. Increased Slip Resistance: Flattening the floor will increase the coefficient of friction when compared to ordinary concrete. Cost Effective: Reduces energy and maintenance costs, too! LEED (Environmentally) Friendly: Utilizes the existing concrete with no VOC's. Improved Floor Conditions: Removes the top surface of the old concrete. Reduced Tire Ware: The smooth, polished surface prevents tire abrasion. |
Aggregate and Sheen Options:
Aggregate Exposures: Sheen Level Choices:
Cream Polish:
Minimal to no coarse aggregate exposure. Small Aggregate: Small, mottled aggregate exposed. Large Aggregate: Large, mottled stone exposed. |
Matte Finish:
A flattened surface, with little-to-no reflection. Low Sheen: A surface with mild shone, and some light light reflection. High Sheen: A shiny surface which reflects ambient light. Glossy Shine: A glistening, glossy surface which is highly reflective. |

The finished surface appearance is also influenced by weather and uncontrollable job site conditions. Our samples are indicative of the color and finish attempted to be achieved.
